Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission
Candidate seeking admission in BDS should comply with the following terms;
No Candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course until.
1. He/ She shall have completed the age of 17 years on 31st Dec. in the year of admission.
2. He/ She has passed the qualifying examination.
A candidate for admission to BDS Course must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for General & 45 % Marks of SC/ST/OBC candidate in 10+2 qualifying examination.
BDS Course Duration
Full time 5-Years
As per the Dentist Act 1948 as amended 2016, admission to all seats of BDS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET Exam)
